Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering!
Here, around 1,000 young women and men are preparing for their future careers as engineers in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering & information technology, mechatronics and plastics technology. The entire faculty is characterised by excellent practical relevance and quality in teaching for our Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes.
About 30 professors, more than 40 staff members and many lecturers from all areas of industry and business take care of a professional and comprehensive education of our students. We maintain contacts with universities in Germany and abroad, with research institutions and with commercial enterprises.

The global demand for Master's graduates in engineering offers countless future-oriented career opportunities. Whether planning, technical development, construction or research - students are ideally trained for demanding engineering activities in a wide variety of fields and can be employed above all in management positions in international business enterprises.
The ability to work independently in scientific fields, the practical experience in research and development as well as intercultural communication acquired during their studies are important key qualifications that play a central role in the company and facilitate their entry into professional life.
