The legally binding basis for every degree program is the relevant study and examination regulations (SPO). They contain important information on the content, structure and examination modalities of your degree program, such as the compulsory and optional courses, fixed examinations and advancement criteria. You should be familiar with the study and examination regulations of your degree program and inform yourself about the corresponding curriculum and module handbook.

Students at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences have the opportunity to use the online courses of the Bavarian Virtual University (vhb) free of charge. Useful content (also outside the regular curriculum) can be learned in this way (web design, foreign languages or basic knowledge of other subjects). The university library on the Rosenheim campus is open to the public. The library's collection is geared towards subjects relevant to higher education and includes books, e-books, e-journals, print media, specialist databases and standards. Guided tours and literature research training extend the library's range of services. Quiet workstations provide a concentrated learning atmosphere. Lockers for storing bags are available in the anteroom of the library and in the S-building.

Studying is not free. Anyone starting a degree course has to think about financing it. Expenses for rent, insurance, food, clothing, transportation, communication, books, excursions, student life itself and the student union fee have to be paid. Pregnancy, birth and raising a child may change the (expectant) parents' previous life and study plans significantly, but studying and having a child are still compatible.

The university's Family Office is there for you if you have any questions about balancing your studies or career and family or for support in taking on caring responsibilities.

The mentoring program supports female students in arriving and settling in at university and in their career planning and personal development. At the heart of the program is the exchange between mentees and an experienced mentor. You can find information on the Ersti Mentoring program here.

Outside the lecture hall, the TH Rosenheim offers a wide range of facilities and activities:

• Student Council (StuPa): students have the right to have a say - in the appointment of new professors, in the approval of the lecture timetable and even in the strategic direction of the university.
• Student councils: Student councils are your point of contact for questions, problems or requests regarding your degree course. Each student council meets regularly to discuss current events. You are welcome to drop by!
• University sports: Exercise creates concentration. If you work and study a lot, you need an appropriate physical and mental balance. University sport offers a varied and extensive range of activities
• Music at the university: Whether it's the university choir, university orchestra or chamber orchestra - there are many opportunities to make music together at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences
• Research, development and transfer: Theoretical understanding and practical implementation are also indispensable at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. Existing facilities and infrastructures offer optimal conditions for pioneering research.
• ROCkET | Rosenheim Center for Entrepreneurship - Use your idea: ROCkET - funded by the BMWK and EXIST - supports students, employees, alumni and researchers at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences in the area of start-ups. We offer a wide range of advice and events in the areas of idea and innovation development, networking and self-employment.
• Observatory: Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences is also known far beyond the city limits for its observatory with a professional observation dome. The observatory offers public tours under clear skies, special tours for special events, exciting specialist lectures and the “Introduction to Astronomy” course.

• Career Center: The Career Center at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences supports students with information and advice on various topics relating to applications, career planning and starting a career. The aim is to make it easier for students to start their careers.
• Job exchange: Students can also get in touch with companies via the internal and external job exchange. This service offered by the university in cooperation with companies is aimed at students who want to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. Numerous job offers can be found in the internal job market and in the Bavaria-wide job exchange.
• Dual study programs: A close connection between theory and practice is made possible by combined studies or studies with in-depth practical experience. Theory is combined with practical phases in a company through studies at the TH.

Grias di, bonjour, SA-WAS-DEE - this is how students are greeted in the foyer of the TH Rosenheim. Numerous international students who come to the university every semester ensure a colorful, intercultural flair on campus. Conversely, students at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences are also welcome to spend one or more semesters abroad at the approximately 80 partner universities around the world. The Studierendenwerk München runs the StuBistro (canteen) in the main building of the TH Rosenheim. In summer, the cozy canteen garden is also open. In addition to breakfast and lunch menus, there is a salad bar, fruit and snacks, sweets and drinks. You can treat yourself to coffee specialties at the espresso bar in the cafeteria. There are also several snack and drinks vending machines on the university campus. Cashless payment is possible with the Student Card.

In addition to the compulsory curriculum, TH Rosenheim offers all students general electives in which they can acquire social skills and professional and entrepreneurial know-how and broaden their horizons with knowledge from other subject areas. This allows students to expand their own skills profile and obtain a certificate from the university (Professional Skills+, Intercultural Competence+).
