  Before placing a book order via the inter-library loan service please check whether the title you are looking for is available in the TH Rosenheim library catalogue.

  Before placing an order for a journal article please check whether the journal title is available in the university’s own journal collection.

• Ordering a book/article:
  Please use the “Gateway Bayern” catalogue to search/submit an order in the Bibliotheksverbund Bayern (Bavarian library network).
  You can submit the order via the given “SFX-Button”.

• Searching national library collections:
  Please use the Karlsruhe Virtual Catalog to search national library collections.
  It is not possible to place direct orders via this catalogue. If you are interested in a particular title, please send an e-mail including all its biographical data to our inter-library loan service office. We will then process your order as quickly as possible.

• Journal searches:
  Please use the EZB electronic journal library to search for our journal titles. This will show you whether the library has the requested journal in full text format. You can also search our printed journals in the OPAC catalogue. Make sure you have set the search filter to document type: journal. More information on our journal titles can be found on our Journals page.

• Database searches:
  Please use our database to search for content from specialist journals, conference reports, conference transcripts, etc.
  Content from the widest variety of sources is collected here and some is available in full text. If the full text is not available, you can order the source via the inter-library loan service.

Our inter-library loan service is governed by German regulations on library services (Leihverkehrsordnung, LVO).

Orders via the inter-library loan service must be collected during the service hours within the next 5 business days after receiving the pick-up email.
Unfortunately, items cannot be kept longer than this.
At the end of the 5 days, the item must be returned to the issuing library.

It is possible for another person to collect your order. Just send us an e-mail beforehand with a photo of your Student Card and the name of the person collecting your order.
In this case, there needs to be an interval of at least 3 hours between e-mail and collection.

The loan periods for items ordered via the inter-library loan service are determined by the issuing libraries.
These may vary widely.
They are usually four weeks - but may also be significantly longer or shorter.
We attach a green slip to the item ordered via the inter-library loan service and this always states the relevant return date along with any renewal option.

You cannot renew items ordered via the inter-library loan service via the library app or OPAC catalogue.
Always speak to the library staff to renew items.

You can return interlibrary loans via the return box in the library's locker area during regular opening hours.
Returns are also possible at the library's information desk or by mail.
When sending items by mail, please ensure that they are adequately insured and packaged.
