Library system conversion

1. May 15 through July 21, 2026

   Changes to Interlibrary Loan Procedures

   Data from the previous system will be migrated to the new system.
   Both systems will be tested in parallel at the information desk.

   The tests may cause minor delays at the information desk.

2. Starting June 22, 2026

   Cataloging will no longer be possible

   Cataloging of newly ordered books will not be possible for approximately 4 weeks.
   Orders can still be placed, but they will be issued with a delay once the cataloging is complete.

3. Starting June 26, 2026

   System Migration

   All data to its proper place!
   The OPAC / TouchPoint library catalog will be replaced by the BibCat catalog.
   There will be restrictions on borrowing, returning, renewing, and reserving items. The catalogs will be unavailable or only partially available.

4. July 6–14, 2026

   Self-checkout is not available at the kiosks

   You cannot check out items at the self-checkout kiosks.
   Items can only be checked out during service hours.
   Library staff will need your university ID to process your checkout.
   Please have it ready.
