System Migration at the Library

1. May 15 through July 21, 2026

   Changes to Interlibrary Loan Procedures

   During the system migration, we are providing interlibrary loan services through alternative channels.
   The ordering procedures for books and journal articles differ significantly.

2. Starting June 22, 2026

   Cataloging is no longer possible

   Newly ordered books cannot be cataloged for approximately 4 weeks.
   Orders can still be placed, but the books will be issued after they have been cataloged.

3. Starting June 26, 2026

   Production Migration of the System

   On your marks, get set, go!
   All data in its place!
   The OPAC / TouchPoint library catalog is being replaced by the BibKat catalog.

   There will be restrictions on borrowing, returning, renewing, and reserving items. The catalogs will be unavailable or only partially available.

4. July 6–14, 2026

   Significant Service Restrictions

   Items cannot be checked out at the self-checkout kiosks.
   Media may only be checked out during service hours.
   Reservations are not possible. The catalog is “frozen.”
