Content: The lecture teaches the basics of sustainable management and deepens sustainable product engineering and sustainable manufacturing. Methods such as Design for Recycling (DfR) and LCA are introduced in sustainable product development, and students apply their knowledge to specific case studies using an LCA software tool. In addition, students learn the principles of the circular economy and its legal framework in the lecture. Building on the basics of processing technologies, they learn how to apply their knowledge in production systems or how to set up cycles for end-of-life products.
