Die Aufgaben der Prüfungskommission sind in der RaPo § 3 geregelt. Diese umfassen z.B.:

• Festlegung der Prüfungsmodalitäten (Bekanntgabe über das Prüfungsamt)
• Entscheidung über Anrechnung von externen Prüfungsleistungen (Auslandssemster oder Studiengangswechsler)
• Entscheidung über die Folgen von Verstößen gegen Prüfungsvorschriften
• Feststellung von Prüfungsleistungen
