Technology at the library

• Copying
  Black/white and colour copiers in A4 and A3.
  Black/white copies cost €0.05 and colour copies cost €0.10 for A4. A3 copies cost double.
  To use the copier, you need a minimum credit of €1.00 on your Student Card.
• Scanning
  can be done in formats up to A2 using our 2 large format Bookeye scanners. You will need a standard format USB stick to use this service, which is free of charge.
  You can also use a multi-functional device to send scans in formats up to A4 to the university hard drive.
• Printing
  You can print from all computer workstations (apart from in the study room) using the multi-functional device.
  Printing in black/white costs €0.05 and printing in colour costs €0.10 per sheet of A4. Printing in A3 format costs double.
  To use the printer, you need a minimum credit of €1.00 on your Student Card.
  The Computer Centre provides a software that allows you to print from your own PC.

  is available at all the library’s study places.
• Power sockets
  are available at nearly all study places.
• 17 PCs
  with the most common operating programmes
• Self-issue machines
  We have two self-issue machines for borrowing books.
  You can also use them to check your library account and renew your items on loan.
• The returns machine
  is located in the stairwell. The machine automatically books the items you return from your library account.
  Items can be returned via this machine during the building's general opening hours.
• The spiral binding machine
  can be found in the lounge area. The binding material costs €0.50 and is available from the information desk. The machine is suitable for binding up to 400 pages.
  Use your Student Card to pay for binding material.
• Charging station for smartphones
  This is a secure place to charge standard smartphones. The keys for the charging compartments are available from the information desk.
• A laminating machine
  for documents in formats up to A3 is available near the information desk. Laminating pouches can be purchased from the information desk for €0.21 – €0.23. Use your Student Card to pay for laminating pouches.
