DAAD Language Certificates

Language certificates

The language center provides students of the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences with DAAD language certificates for a study or internship abroad. The DAAD certificate is intended exclusively for this purpose and is not a substitute for language certificates such as TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.

To obtain the certificate, a 45-minute test must be taken, which covers reading comprehension, writing, and speaking. The test is taken without separate preparation, either in person or online via Zoom. Suggested dates for taking the test will be sent by email from the Language Center after applying for the certificate (see form below).

If you can prove that you have passed an English-language module offered by the CCC / Language and Writing Center (transcript of records, elective certificate, etc.), please indicate this in the form when applying. The certificate will then be issued after application without a test.

Proof of English in your high school diploma or being enrolled in an English-language degree program at THRO does not exempt you from the test.

Refugees can complete a DAAD language certificate as proof of B2 level (English) for the purpose of applying for a degree program at the TH Rosenheim. Further info can be found here.
