About the degree programme
Engineering Pedagogy, specialization in construction technology
Focus on timber and interior construction
The new bachelor's degree programme in engineering pedagogy, specialization in construction technology offers an engineering degree programme that simultaneously prepares students for further qualification as teachers at vocational schools. In line with the profile of the Rosenheim Technical University, the focus is on the sustainable material wood and its use in timber and interior construction. With a degree in engineering pedagogy, you can go directly to a university (e.g. the TU Munich) to do a Master's degree in vocational education and then start a traineeship as a teacher with the prospect of a career in the higher civil service with tenure. Alternatively, a career in the construction industry or in the building trade is possible as a Bachelor of Engineering. Additional qualifications in education and psychology are particularly in demand.
