International Business Projects

Like the 7,500 other students at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences, the students on the International Management Master's programme have important final exams to write over the next few weeks. After all, you learn a lot of material during the semester in order to be prepared for the complex tasks in practice.

However, students also learn a lot from practice: in the "International Business Projects" module in May 2025, real projects with an international context were worked on together with well-known companies in the region. The course leader, Prof Dr Eckhard Lachmann, had invited the Master's students to work on specific projects from everyday business life. The companies Marc O'Polo, Egger, Air Dolomiti, Hilti, Gabor, Halvotec, HARO and Schattdecor contributed their specific projects and the students actively worked on them. The aim was to document, scrutinise and analyse the most important project decisions. Above all, however, the "lessons learnt" from each project were to be clearly identified.

The focus is clearly on practical relevance. And this is exactly what the TH Rosenheim is known for. So at the end of the semester, everyone has benefited: The students have immersed themselves in exciting projects on specific problems and the companies in the region have once again helped to ensure that graduates from "their" university enter the labour market with sound practical knowledge.
