Coffee & Connect and Grill & Connect bring together first-year students, students in higher years and lecturers at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences.
New faces, exciting course content and plenty of unanswered questions: starting university brings a lot to contend with. For the 2026 winter semester, the Faculty of Business Administration therefore organised two special kick-off events designed to help new students settle in, encourage interaction and foster a sense of community right from the start.
Coffee & Connect: Starting the Master’s programme together
Following the introductory session, which provided plenty of information for the entire programme, Bridges4RO invited attendees to take a short break with a free drink. This gave first-year students the chance to chat amongst themselves as well as with students from higher years, and to receive valuable tips for their Master’s studies. Tutors from the programme and lecturers were also on hand to answer questions. Coffee & Connect was developed as part of the GetOnBoard work package of the Bridges4RO research project. Grill & Connect: Network, discover, get started
Grill & Connect is also a special event where lecturers man the barbecue for the students. Over burgers, drinks and in a friendly atmosphere, it’s easy to strike up a conversation. Whether you’re on a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme; whether you’re a new student at TH Rosenheim looking to make contacts or in your seventh semester looking for supervision for your Bachelor’s thesis. This direct contact and the friendly atmosphere are what make our university special.
Many thanks to everyone who dropped by and offered their support. We look forward to many more get-togethers over the course of the semester!
