Customer is King & Queen? – Between expectations and reality

Under the motto "Customer is King & Queen? Between Expectations & Reality," BORA Lüftungstechnik GmbH offered around 50 students from the "International Management" master's program at the Faculty of Business Administration at TH Rosenheim exciting insights into modern customer understanding, corporate values, and service orientation in practice.

After a warm welcome from the BORA team, an inspiring keynote speech took the international students straight into the world of BORA: from the original idea and founding of the company to its core brand values and the question of what really makes customers tick today.

Things got particularly lively during the interactive role-play, in which some students reenacted typical customer situations from different perspectives – humorous, vivid, and at the same time extremely informative. The central question, "How can we best reach our customers?", was always at the forefront.

This was followed by an impressive tour of the modern BORA building. The students gained an insight into work areas, development and presentation rooms, and were able to experience how design, innovation, and customer focus merge at BORA.

The excursion day on October 28, 2025, was rounded off with a joint tarte flambée lunch accompanied by interesting conversations and a wonderful view of the mountains.

We would like to thank BORA for their hospitality, open insights, and diverse ideas. For our students in the Master's program in International Management, the excursion offered valuable practical insights and new perspectives on the topics of customer orientation, brand management, and innovation. The students, accompanied by Dipl.-Betr. Kathrin Müller and program director Prof. Dr. Bettina Schiessler, were thrilled!
