Following the opening of the 10th Rosenheim Sales Meeting by CEO Karl GÖPFERT and greetings from District Administrator Otto LEDERER, Mayor Daniel ARTMANN, University President Prof Heinz KÖSTER and a video message from State Secretary Daniela LUDWIG, Prof Dieter BENATZKY kicked off the event with a witty lecture and timeless insights into the world of marketing. He emphasised the importance of innovation and its contribution to market success. However, this is no longer about purely technical product innovations; rather, artificial intelligence currently offers a wide range of new opportunities that need to be addressed strategically.
The evening's keynote speakers picked up on this idea. Stefan BESOLD, Head of Sales at komro, demonstrated the benefits of AI in the marketing of digital products and explained how even a relatively small provider can hold its own in the large "shark tank". IT specialists Bernhard HUTER (EMC) and Michael BAYR (artcodix) clearly demonstrated how professional sales support can be set up with the help of AI. This was followed by business insights from Michael HEINRITZI (Mc Donalds-Heinritzi), who also explained the new AI-based tools that are constantly improving service in modern restaurants.
