For over forty years, Sparkasse has been organising the Stock Market Simulation Game throughout Germany to promote financial education. In February, the winners in the Sparkasse Rosenheim-Bad Aibling area were honoured in numerous classes. The award ceremony and laudatory speech were given by Stephan Donderer, member of the Sparkasse board of directors. The Faculty of Business Administration at TH Rosenheim was represented by Prof. Dr Bernd Hacker.
A total of 65 students from TH Rosenheim took part and took the top three places in the ‘Students’ class in the ‘Total Depot’ category! The prizes of €500, €300 and €200 for places 1-3 went entirely to TH Rosenheim. Congratulations on the clean sweep!
In the second category, ‘Sustainability’ another THRO student achieved an excellent third place, which also came with a prize of €200 – congratulations!
Many thanks to Sparkasse Rosenheim-Bad Aibling for the opportunity to integrate the business simulation game into the first-semester lecture in the business administration programme at TH Rosenheim! We look forward to participating again next year.
