Degree programmes with advanced work experience model

Additional work experience in the semester breaks

Degree programmes with advanced work experience offer students the opportunity to acquire additional, extensive practical experience. During lecture-free periods and the practical semester, students are paid to work at a company. In this way, they complete at least 50 percent more periods of practical experience than they would on a regular degree programme, but without lengthening the normal duration of study. At the end of the degree programme the students will – if possible – produce their Bachelor’s thesis at the partner company and thus add their theoretical knowledge to their practical experience. Depending on the course, it may be possible to switch to a degree programme with advanced work experience, even after starting a different degree programme.

Similarly, it is also possible to complete a degree programme with advanced work experience on selected Master’s degree programmes.
