About the degree programme
The Robotics and Machine Intelligence program combines foundational knowledge in science and engineering with computational and engineering methods in robotics and artificial intelligence. Particular emphasis is placed on the development, modeling, programming, and application of intelligent technical systems, as well as aspects of sustainability and digitalization. A broad range of required-elective modules allows students to tailor their academic profile to deepen their knowledge in areas aligned with their personal interests and the requirements of various professional fields.
Course content
The bachelor’s program has a standard duration of seven semesters and eight semesters for part-time study, to allow students to acquire German language proficiency at the B2 level or higher. The program comprises six theoretical semesters (seven for part-time study) and a one-semester internship conducted concurrently with the program.
Career Opportunities
The program prepares graduates to take on engineering roles that require in-depth knowledge of robotics, artificial intelligence, automation technology, and intelligent information-processing systems. Particular emphasis is placed on a broad, high-quality, and interdisciplinary education. Career opportunities are available in industrial companies, research and development institutions, public service organizations, and in freelance professions.
