Freemover

As soon as you have received the confirmation of a place as a free mover from a foreign university of your choice, you should register here as a free mover. The International Office will then inform you via e-mail about current scholarship opportunities (PROMOS / Bavarian scholarships). In this way, you will not miss out on anything – even if you are already abroad.

Some faculties have overviews of potential free mover universities. You can also find tips on interesting universities in the experiences shared by other students of their stays abroad in the international blog, or via the websites of placement agencies for free movers (see above).

You will find comprehensive information about your destination in the country information provided by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). Particularly if you are travelling to unsafe areas, you should also consult the website of the Federal Foreign Office.
