About the laboratory
Akustik ist die Wissenschaft, die lehrt und forscht gewissenhaft, wie Schall entsteht, wie man ihn leitet, wie er im Raum und Bau sich breitet, und wie man´s hindern kann erst recht. Akustik ist nicht gut, nicht schlecht.
This lab is known for
- practice-oriented education in building acoustics, room acoustics, and vibroacoustics,
- research projects with national and international partners,
- R&D projects with companies and associations,
- and active participation in national and European standardisation work.
Applied acoustics is a research area at the Rosenheim Technology Centre for Energy and Buildings.
