Refund of the Student Union Fee
Students who have already paid the Student Union fee for the upcoming semester may be eligible for a refund under certain conditions. The refund is granted in accordance with § 6 (2) of the Statutes of the student union Studierendenwerks München Oberbayern regarding the basic contribution (Basic Contribution Statutes).
Conditions for a refund
Return of the StudentCard to the student administration:
The StudentCard must be returned to the student administration no later than five weeks after the beginning of the semester. This applies in the following cases:

Exmatriculation at the end of the semester

Exmatriculation within the first five weeks of the semester

Withdrawal from enrolment (first-semester students only), if applied for within the first five weeks of the semester
Double enrolment:
If you are enrolled at two universities and have paid the student union fee twice, a refund may be obtained from the university where the fee is not required.
How to request a refund
Download the refund application and submit it together with your StudentCard to the student administration.
