Crossing borders – geographically, culturally and academically: That’s exactly what 15 Master’s students from TH Rosenheim’s International Management programme experienced from 5–9 May 2025 during the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hasselt, Belgium.
Under the theme "Innovate with AI: Business, Technology & Market Impact”, international student teams from Belgium, Croatia and Germany developed innovative digital business ideas with a strong focus on the future of technology.
A special highlight this year: Each participant created their own personal avatar based on a short film recording, which was an essential requirement for the project work – blending digital identity, creativity, and innovation in a unique way.
Working in six interdisciplinary teams, students developed strong concepts in just a few days. The winning idea, developed by team “smartstart”, proposed a practical onboarding toolkit for new employees – a solution that truly impressed the international jury.
Professor Dr Carolin Fleischmann shared her excitement: “I was truly amazed by the professionalism and creativity of the students' ideas – to see such well-developed concepts after only a few days was incredibly inspiring.”
Beyond the work, there was time for team-building and cultural exchange: highlights included a canal boat tour with karaoke and brave vocal performances by the teaching staff.
The next edition of the BIP will take place in Rosenheim in 2026, and we are already looking forward to welcoming our international guests once again!
Special thanks to PXL for hosting such an unforgettable and inspiring week.
