Graduates of Chemical Engineering are employed in various fields in the chemical, pharmaceutical or food industry, such as analytics and quality assurance, maintenance, project engineering, process development, industrial engineering, or research and development.

Learning Contents

The IBE specialisation in Chemical Engineering provides students with solid training in the field of mathematics and natural sciences relevant to engineering and chemistry. It focuses on conveying knowledge of chemical technology, process engineering and specific apparatus and equipment. Interdisciplinary modules such as methodological skills, practical lab units and a practical semester round off the degree programme. These are carried out in close collaboration with the industry in the ChemDelta Bavaria, so that students receive a practical and job market oriented  education. Within the framework of application-focused projects, students apply the theoretical knowledge and skills they have gained to practice.
