Call for Application for Graduation Scholarships for International Students - summer semester 2026

Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences offers 5 Graduation Scholarships for international students in need in the final phase of their studies, from funds by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Each scholarship provides €650 per month for 2 months (total: €1,300).

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Have good academic performance (approx. 2.0 or better)
• Be expected to complete their studies within one year
• Meet minimum credit requirements:
  • Bachelor’s: at least 150 CPs (out of 210)
  • Master’s: at least 30 CPs (out of 90)

Required documents:

• Motivation letter
• CV
• Certificate of enrolment
• Transcript of records
• Master’s students: Bachelor’s certificate
• Proof of financial situation (bank account statements of the last three months, funding/scholarships, employment contract if applicable)
• Copy of passport or ID card

Selection Criteria

• Financial need
• Academic performance
• Study progress and proximity to graduation
• Quality of motivation letter

Incomplete or late applications, as well as applications not submitted as a single PDF file, cannot be considered. Applicants will receive a decision within 2–3 weeks after the deadline.

Call for Applications - Bavarian Scholarships for International Students - Summer Term 2026

Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences awards grants to international degree seeking students in financial need and with good very academic records (up to grade 2,0) for the summer term 2026 from funds of the Bavarian State Ministry of Education, Science and the Arts.

German Tax ID: What You Need to Know
Every individual that is registered at an address in Germany is assigned a unique tax ID number. Your German tax ID remains the same for life, even if you change your name, move address or leave Germany. The tax ID is always 11 digits and written in the following format: 00 000 000 000.

In some cases, students from abroad may receive government loans or funding to support their studies in Germany.

The Student Union offers advice on

• studying when you have children,
• working while studying, and
