We will support you with organisational and administrative issues before and upon your arrival at TH Rosenheim.
Arrival
Here you will find information about getting to Rosenheim.
From Munich Airport it takes approximately 1.5 hours to get to Rosenheim. Take the suburban train (S-Bahn) S8 direction Munich East and get there on the train Meridian direction Salzburg or Kufstein. Train connections can be checked at the DB website of the German Railways, and at the App DB Navigator.

Visa and insurance

Visa for stays up to 90 days
- EU countries: If you come from an EU member state you generally do not need a visa to enter Germany.
- Citizens of third countries: Please check well in advance if you need a visa on the website of the Federal Foreign Office. You can also ask the German Embassy in your country.
Insurance
Please ensure adequate health, accident and personal liability insurance throughout your stay in Germany. The DAAD offers combined health, accident and personal liability insurance for academics who come to Germany. More information about the terms and conditions can be found here.
