In addition to writing advice, the Writing Centre also offers individual statistical advice. In the statistical counselling service, we support students in the methodological planning, implementation and evaluation of empirical work. We provide feedback on statistical concepts, help with the selection of suitable methods of analysis and provide support with the correct interpretation of results. Together, we develop solutions to statistical challenges so that empirical projects can be realised in a well-founded manner.

From seminar papers to bachelor's, master's or doctoral theses, we are happy to advise you with regard to

• Study design and research planning: sample size, data collection, operationalisation
• Selection of suitable statistical methods for your research question
• Data preparation and analysis: dealing with missing values, outliers, data cleansing
