ZBM stands for innovative wood utilization and sustainable management

The scientific institution of the TH Rosenheim mediates between research, industry and society. "Our goal is to make a significant contribution to environmental protection and thus to make the lives and activities of all people sustainable. The dedicated team of professors, scientists, engineers and students is funded by the Free State of Bavaria and supports partners from industry in the areas of research and development.

Research focus wood-based bioeconomy

The research focus wood-based bioeconomy of the TH Rosenheim is interdisciplinary, cross-faculty and cross-locational. It deals with the utilization of wood as well as the mechanical, chemical and biotechnological decomposition of the raw material. Through this, new products are obtained, and their further processing is researched.
