Wohnen für Hilfe (Living for help)

Young and elderly people helping each other. That's what the project „Wohnen für Hilfe“ is all about. Elderly people offer students living space for free or for a reduced price. In return, the students help out in daily life, for example in the household, the garden or with running errands.

Accomodation exchange

The following online portals can be helpful in finding the right accommodation:

Check out the notice boards at Campus Rosenheim (in front of the room A Z1.50) and Campus Mühldorf am Inn (entrance hall) where you can find more accommodation offers. You can also use the notice boards for putting up your own accommodation request.

Recommendations on searching for accommodation

Due to the advantages of accommodation in halls of residence, – reasonable rents, proximity to university, the appeal of living in student communities – demand for spaces is usually high. That’s why applicants should expect a waiting time of about one semester for this type of accommodation. New arrivals to Rosenheim cannot assume they will get a place in a student accommodation and will have to find alternative accommodation in case they have to wait.
