Course content & structure

The Bachelor's degree programme covers the basic subjects of both business administration and the healthcare industry. In the first four semesters, for example, students complete modules like Medicine for Economists, Healthcare Economics, Epidemiology and Evidence Based Medicine alongside modules in Bookkeeping, Cost Accounting and Marketing. By choosing one of the following specialist fields, students deepen their knowledge of a specific area:

  • Hospital Management
  • Medical Technology
  • Social Insurance and Care Management
  • Pharmaceuticals Management

Practical experience is gained whilst studying by working on case studies, carrying out practical projects with companies and going on excursions, as well as, primarily, by completing the practical semester.
